🎯 About the role

WeWard’s Monetization team drives revenue initiatives across iOS and Android with a data-driven and results-focused mindset. As WeWard’s Senior Monetization Engineer, you’ll take the reins of building the systems that power our revenue engine.

Your impact/responsabilities

As a Senior Mobile Engineer for the Monetization team at WeWard, you will build world-class monetization experiences that balance user value with sustainable revenue! You’ll be responsible for developing and optimizing solutions that achieve our ambitious revenue goals by focusing on:

• Advertising Integration & Optimization - Design, build, and optimize our advertising infrastructure including interstitial and rewarded ads. Work with SDKs like AppLovin, AdMob, and other major ad networks to maximize revenue while preserving user experience.

• Premium Subscription Growth - Build data-driven experiences that optimize conversion rates for our premium subscriptions. Create compelling upgrade flows and implement platform-specific IAP solutions on iOS and Android.

• Affiliate Marketing - Develop and integrate affiliate marketing solutions that create new revenue streams while adding value for our users.

• Performance & Scalability - Ensure our monetization solutions are performant, scalable, and maintainable as we continue our rapid growth.

Preferred experience

🧠 What we’re looking for

You’re the perfect match if…

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

• Proficiency in TypeScript. Familiar with Swift and Kotlin. We’re a React Native shop with native Android and iOS modules.

• Hands-on experience integrating and managing mobile SDKs on both iOS and Android platforms.

• Understanding of mobile monetization mechanics: IAPs, subscriptions, and ad mediation.

• Ability to understand and debug large and complex codebases.

• Good team communication and collaboration skills.

• Fluent in English. You will collaborate with our US team on a daily basis.

• Bonus:

  • Previous experience with subscription management platforms (RevenueCat, or similar).

  • Previous experience with advertising SDKs (AppLovin, AdMob, ironSource, Unity Ads, or similar).

  • Familiar with A/B testing and A/B testing best practices.

  • Previous experience in a high-growth consumer app environment.

Recruitment process

1. 30-min technical chat with your future manager from the Front team — to dive into the role and missions.

2. At-home case study followed by a 1 hour debrief with the Tech team, including time for mutual feedback.

3. 30-min call with Kaënaath, our Talent Acquisition Specialist — to discuss your background, expectations, and introduce you to WeWard.
