🎯 About the role

Reporting to the Tech Team, you will be working on adding new features to our core or map exploring (WeCards) product and improving the overall architecture to support WeWard’s growth and ambitions! You will work alongside:

• Surya, Lead Tech

• Thomas, Lead Tech

• Vincent, Backend Engineer

• Dorra, Software Engineer

By joining the team, you will become part of an entrepreneurial adventure where each team member contributes fully. You’ll participate in the strategic and technical decisions of the company and have a strong and immediate impact on our users: 3 million daily users 🚶‍♂️📱

We value a basic knowledge of Python (Flask, but we’re open to other Python web frameworks) and SQL (especially PostgreSQL).

We are looking for someone who understands API development and consumption, with a keen eye for code quality. If terms like automation and public cloud are new to you, don’t worry, we’re here to guide you!

Our toolset includes Github Actions, Docker, and AWS services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, etc.).

Recruitment process

1. 30-min technical chat with your future manager, Dorra/Surya/Thomas — to dive into the role and missions.

2. At-home case study evaluating your hard skills followed by a 1 hour debrief either by video call or at the office, with the Tech team, including time for mutual feedback

3. Office tour to meet other team members.
